Office Chair Regulation: Shifting Focus

This video is one in a series where I demonstrate how to use embodiment and somatic practices to regulate the nervous system all from sitting in an office chair.

In this video, we use a pen, or other small object, to focus on up close, then shift into using peripheral vision. This helps to ground you in the present moment, activate the vagus nerve and decrease sympathetic activation (flight or fight).
