Office Chair Regulation: The Voo Breath

This video is one in a series where I show embodiment and somatic practices to help regulate the autonomic nervous system all from an office chair.

My hope is to provide coping skills that can be used almost anywhere, anytime. This one uses a practice from Peter Levine, PhD’s Somatic Experiencing therapy. It is a specific kind of breathing practice focused on using vocal tone and vibration to help ground the body and regulate the autonomic nervous system whether you are experiencing a “shut down” response or low level sympathetic activation.

Try this practice to help yourself feel at least 1% better!
